Established in 2010 by Vickie Howell and Sandra Wonacott, Guardians By The Sea Inc was opened in Brookings, OR to provide seniors with quality in-home senior care services. Vickie and Sandra have over 30 years of experience working with seniors and people with disabilities in the Rogue Valley and the Southern Oregon Coast.

We are a member of the Brookings Chamber of Commerce and are dedicated to supporting our community through sponsorships and volunteer work. As a state-licensed agency, all of our caregivers are employees of our company, which takes any and all responsibility off of you and/or your family of having to worry about employment taxes and insurances.

It is our goal to enrich seniors’ lives and give their families peace of mind in knowing that their loved one is safe and well cared for. Our Caregivers
Each caregiver has at least two years of experience working with the elderly or people with disabilities. They are required to pass a nationwide background criminal history check. We maintain current copies of their drivers’ license, auto insurance, CPR training, as well as continuing education certificates.
